It appears that NTLM authentication uses some a hashing algorithm to avoid sending the password in
clear text and to ensure that the transmitted password is different every time. This ensures that people
listening to the HTTP cannot gain access to your logins.
 
Unfortunately that is how MaxQ operates: it listens, records and then plays back. Therefore to make
NTLM authentication work with MaxQ would require that the user manually enters his password into the
script in plain text. MaxQ would also need to be integrated with some kind of implementation of NTLM
authentication over HTTP. I found this pure Java implementation that might be useful:

(This feature is not of any interest to me at the moment so I will not be implementing it. I just thought
I'd share my thoughts because I _was_ interested in whether it was possible.)
