Message Hi Oliver,
Thank you for the information.
Would you, by chance, know where, which file, in the source code that particular method is located.

Message Hi Roland,

What you are describing sounds simple enough, but I am not sure that MaxQ currently supports it. You will need to check the source code, and perhaps add some extra parameters to CompactTest.get(), which are passed up into the Java code somehow. Basic validation will be supported by the Java library we use for requests, so it is just a matter of getting the information where it is needed.

[maxq-users] Basic Web Service Authentication

Message Hi,
I'm trying to use maxq to test a simple web page that contains buttons, hyper links, input boxes, etc.
Also, a user has to enter a user name and password to access the web page.
The web service uses the Basic authentication feature whereas a user needs to enter the user name and password into a popup window that's being opened and displayed by the web browser. After the user has entered the information, and has clicked OK, the user is able to enter the site.
Moreover, the web browser/service stores the login information so that the user does nopt to supply the validation information on the next login.

I wrote a simple python shell script to verify I can log into the web site successfully with the required user validation information.

Now, my question is, how can I modify the maxq generated jython script and pass the user validation arguments to the maxq engine
