Message Hi all,

ok, got it all working finally.

You can now use maxq to record PBP scripts using the PBPScriptGenerator

An example recorded script for the Quixote widget demo is here:

(The form filling in stuff was by far the most difficult; everything
else just worked.) I've tried recording longer scripts & it all works,
as long as you're careful not to use the BACK button ;).

In order to get this to work with PBP, I had to patch several things
in the latest subversion code for PBP. The patches are all available at

(the ones in sub/ have been submitted to PBP).

I also had to patch Python's sgmllib.py; for the moment, it's easiest
to simply edit pbp/code/pbp/wwwsearch.zip, file ClientForm.py, to
use a different HTML Parser class: uncomment this line in ClientForm.py
to do this.

#FormParser = XHTMLCompatibleFormParser

I will wait 'til the various necessary changes are integrated into PBP
to post about this again, but for the moment I'd appreciate any
comments/questions/suggestions you may have!
